I loved this color/design when looking at several websites. I was so impressed, I almost ordered several of these for my home, up until I found a review like your hopefully reading. The writer warned the Gold was much darker than the picture, so I took the advice and ordered a sample. Good thing. When we received it, it was more Brown than it appears in the pictures. Always pre-order a sample. You be glad to give up [$] and not have the hassel to return it.
Very good quality rug.

Used on stairway to second floor. Thick and soft. Overall good satsfaction except for background color.
Prompt delivery. Arrived in good condition. I failed to order color sample. I was a bit disappointed with the background color of carpet runner. It looked gold when I viewed it online, but actual background color turned out to be brown. Too dark. I highly advise ordering sample before purchasing any quantity.
