We have had this rug almost two years, we bought one that we hoped would clean well, hold up in a heavy traffic area and would look nice in a traditional setting. We have not been disappointed. I would, however, recommend a good pad. Also, be prepared for some flaws in the area of designs along the edges but these not very detectable without closely reviewing.
