Bought two of these for our decks in the summertime and have really enjoyed the look of the rugs, but after the third summer outside the binding on them began to come loose and looks pretty awful.

Comments about Summer Chimes by Couristan Oriental Rugs Recife Collection 1523-0712:

We've used two of these rugs on our outdoor decks for three years during the summer months. They are attractive and give those areas a more cozy, almost indoor appeal. I use a garden hose to wash away any debris and they've dried quite quickly in the afternoon sunshine. We've enjoyed them up until this year when the binding began to come loose along the edges, hanging in strands several inches long. This destroys the overall appeal of the rugs and makes them look cheap and tacky. I've considered cutting off the strands, rebinding them by hand, or simply throwing the rugs out but the rugs are still in good condition. I'm disappointed that the material and method used to bind the edges were apparently not up to par. I've a perfectly good product that now cannot be used after three years of normal use.
